Artist of the Week - 23rd January 2011
I am interested to express through a subtle vocabulary of forms and references the notion of urban architecture. I retain the honesty and quality of materials used in the construction industry and embrace fixings and necessary building techniques to create a Brutalist aesthetic of, “No mystery, no romanticism and no obscurities.” The structures I create have a feeling of the façade depicting a space or place. The self-contained modules I invent have a connection with the reality of urban environments.
